„Puly Grind Crystals“ — burr cleaning crystals in single-dose sachets

Starch crystals that clean the burrs of coffee grinders and superautomatic coffee machines without dismantling. 10 × 15 g sachets per box.

„Puly Grind Crystals“ are burr cleaning crystals made in Italy by „Asachimici“ that keep every dose of coffee tasting clean and fresh. They are ground just like coffee beans and clean coffee oil deposits and stale grounds off the burrs and out of the grinding chamber, while the grind setting stays exactly as it is. They suit flat and conical burrs; one sachet is one cleaning dose.

The crystals are made of natural gluten-free starch (80–90 %) and water (10–20 %) and are free from allergens and preservatives. They also clear the grinder of the previous coffee — for example chocolate- or vanilla-flavoured coffee, or caffeinated coffee before you switch to decaf.

• Coffee grinders, including grinder-dosers.
• Superautomatic (bean-to-cup) coffee machines with a built-in grinder.

Directions for use

Dosage. One sachet (15 g) per cleaning; two sachets for retail grinders.

Coffee grinder:

1 dose

Empty the bean hopper (and the doser on a grinder-doser), then pour the crystals from one sachet straight onto the burrs.

Refill the hopper

Refill the hopper with coffee beans.

Run the grinder

Run the grinder for 3–5 seconds so that all the crystals grind through, then grind and discard the first two doses (about 10 g).

Superautomatic coffee machine:

1. Empty the bean hopper as far as possible.
2. Pour the contents of the sachet into the hopper and refill it with beans.
3. Keep the same grind setting, make two coffees and discard them.
4. Then use the machine as normal.

Clean the burrs every evening.

Clean oily residues off the bean hopper with a 1 % solution of „Puly Caff Plus®“ Powder.

Safe use

Warning: the safety data sheet does not classify the crystals as hazardous. Avoid breathing in dust, and if dust is generated, wear tight-fitting safety goggles and a dust mask. If in eyes: remove contact lenses and rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes, holding the eyelids open; if discomfort persists, see an eye specialist. Keep out of reach of children. Store the pack tightly closed in a dry, cool, ventilated room, away from heat sources and sunlight, at up to 20 °C.
