The machine works — it needs maintenance

The machine is faulty

Diagnostics
A thorough machine check-up — pressure, temperature, leaks, electronics. We pinpoint the fault and provide a repair quote. Required when the machine is faulty — repair work starts only after diagnostics. Maintenance services do not require diagnostics.
An official written fault assessment for your insurance company or institution. Ordered only together with diagnostics — 60 € excl. VAT in total.
Maintenance
Descaling and cleaning of coffee oils with professional detergents — for cleaner-tasting coffee and a longer machine life. After cleaning, we make sure the machine brews smoothly. Recommended every 6–12 months, depending on water hardness and how much coffee you brew.
Everything included in the Preventive maintenance, plus: full service of the heating system — thermoblock or boiler, depending on the model — and the brew group, replacement of worn gaskets (standard gasket set included), calibration and testing. Exterior cleaning and disinfection included. Recommended every 1–2 years.
Grinder disassembly, cleaning of burrs and the grinding chamber from coffee oils, grind adjustment. Burr replacement is billed at the hourly rate; the burrs are charged separately.
Repair work
Fault fixing and parts replacement: pump, valves, heating system, electronics, gaskets and other small parts. Minimum charge — 1 hour, then time is billed in 30-minute steps. Repair work is carried out after fault diagnostics, which is charged separately (35 €).
Additional services
Cleaning limescale and coffee-oil residue off the body and metal details, light polishing, disinfection of the steam wand, drip tray and portafilter.
Ordered only together with another service; already included in the Major service.
A one-time surcharge per order. Your machine is handled ahead of the queue: diagnostics on the day we receive it or the next working day, and the repair completed within 1–2 working days from your approval of the quote (parts permitting). Available for warranty repairs too.
Spare parts are charged separately — we use only genuine ASCASO parts; the standard gasket set is already included in the Major service.
For services marked “from”, the final price depends on the model and the fault — you receive an exact quote after diagnostics, and work starts only once you approve it. If additional faults come to light during the work, we fix them only after agreeing with you — at the hourly rate, with no extra diagnostic fee. Prices are subject to 21 % VAT.
Under warranty? We repair it for free.
We fix manufacturing faults free of charge under the ascaso.lt warranty terms. All you need is your proof of purchase. If an inspection shows the fault is not covered by the warranty, the regular price list applies.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a repair take?
Diagnostics take 1–2 working days from the moment we receive the machine, and with parts in stock most repairs are completed within 2–5 working days from your approval of the quote. If a part has to be ordered from the factory in Spain, we agree the timing individually. In a hurry — choose the express service (+20 €): your machine is handled ahead of the queue and the repair is completed within 1–2 working days.
When is diagnostics needed?
Diagnostics is needed when the machine is faulty — it identifies the cause and gives you a repair quote. It is charged separately from the repair work: for example, diagnostics (35 €) plus a small repair (35 €) comes to 70 € excl. VAT in total. If the machine works and you only want maintenance, no diagnostics is needed — order Preventive, Major or grinder maintenance directly. If you decide not to repair after diagnostics, you only pay for diagnostics (35 € excl. VAT) and, if ordered, the damage assessment report (+25 €).
Do you use genuine parts?
Yes. As the official ASCASO representative in Lithuania, we use only genuine manufacturer parts — the most common ones are in stock and the rest we order directly from the factory.
Do you provide a warranty on the work?
Yes — we provide a 6-month warranty on completed work and replaced parts. This warranty is in addition to and does not limit your statutory rights.
How do I send my machine from another city?
Send it by courier or parcel locker — we will help arrange collection and return the repaired machine the way that suits you. Shipping both ways is paid by the customer. For a warranty repair, please bring the machine to our service in Vilnius — the repair itself and the parts cost you nothing. Before shipping, remove the water tank and portafilter and pack the machine in a sturdy box.
