„Puly Cleaner®“ Powder — descaler in single-use sachets

Citric acid descaler for espresso machines and electric kettles. 10 sachets of 25 g.

„Puly Cleaner®“ Powder is a descaling powder made in Italy by „Asachimici“; on the manufacturer's website it is listed as „Puly Cleaner Descaler® Cristalli“. Each 25 g sachet is one descaling dose. The powder quickly dissolves limescale, and regular use keeps the equipment from becoming completely blocked.

The main active ingredient is citric acid (90–100 %), with less than 5 % sulfamic acid. It is a white, odourless crystalline powder that dissolves readily in water.

Applications

• Espresso machines with a water tank.
• Electric kettles.

Directions for use

Dosage. Dissolve the contents of one sachet (25 g) in 1 litre of water.

Espresso machine:

1. Pour the solution into the machine's water tank.
2. Switch on the pump and let it run until the tank is empty.
3. Rinse the tank thoroughly, fill it with clean water and run the pump again until the tank is empty.

Electric kettle. Pour in the solution and switch the kettle on. Once it has reached maximum temperature, switch it off, pour away the solution and rinse the kettle thoroughly.

„Asachimici“ recommends descaling at least once a month. If the espresso machine's instructions specify a different descaling procedure, follow those.

Warning: causes serious eye irritation (H319); may cause respiratory irritation (H335). Avoid breathing dust. Wear protective gloves and eye protection. If in eyes: rinse cautiously with water for several minutes; remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do, and continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists, get medical advice. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a dry, cool, well-ventilated place at no more than 30 °C, out of direct sunlight and away from alkaline products and oxidising agents; keep the pack tightly closed after opening.
